25. In my section alone (between 7th and 9th on Penn. Ave) . . .

There were 25 protestors to every three supporters. When you looked overtop once Lancelot Link had passed, all you could see was a sea of Bartcop signs and middle fingers. All you could hear was booing, various anti-Bush chants all over, "Go back to Texas, motherfucker!!" and things of that nature. Crashcart and his closeted wife received pretty much the same treatment. I heard maybe a faint smatter of support but a tornado of sheer venom. Just getting on the Metros - hundreds of people had signs galore. It was nothing short of amazing and astounding to be a part of.

The media, as usual, downplayed everything, but my ears and eyes didn't lie to me. I know what I saw, and it wasn't a "mandate" by any means.

39. Yes, they were beautiful.

I spent some time yesterday downloading them and all the ones at Yahoo. The protestors always bring the hope back.

I got stuck going out to dinner on coronation day so money was spent but I wore a very bright orange top and every once in awhile thought to myself "we're going to go Ukrainain on their @sses". I couldn't say it out load because I live in a repuke nest of vipers.
