Easy Way to FAX Your Senators......
If you're writing letters to your Senators this weekend to beg them NOT to confirm Condi, like I am, here's an easy way to FAX them. I believe FAXES are better - hard copies just get looked at quicker than do emails.

Send a multiple efax now!
copy and paste a block of fax-email addresses into the 'To' field of a
blank email

remote-printer.Senator_Boxer@12022281338.iddd.tpc.int,
remote-printer.Senator_Byrd@12022280002.iddd.tpc.int,
remote-printer.Senator_Feingold@12022242725.iddd.tpc.int,
remote-printer.Senator_Jeffords@12022280776.iddd.tpc.int,
remote-printer.Senator_Obama@13124276401.iddd.tpc.int

remote-printer.Senator_Wyden@12022282717.iddd.tpc.int,
remote-printer.Senator_Nelson@12022282182.iddd.tpc.int,
remote-printer.Senator_Akaka@12022242126.iddd.tpc.int,
remote-printer.Senator_Inouye@12022246747.iddd.tpc.int,
remote-printer.Senator_Mikulski@12022248858.iddd.tpc.int

remote-printer.Senator_Sarbanes@12022241651.iddd.tpc.int,
remote-printer.Senator_Dayton@12022282186.iddd.tpc.int,
remote-printer.Senator_Lautenberg@12022284054.iddd.tpc.int,
remote-printer.Senator_Cantwell@12022280514.iddd.tpc.int,
remote-printer.Senator_Kohl@12022249787.iddd.tpc.int

remote-printer.Senator_Murray@12022240238.iddd.tpc.int,
remote-printer.Senator_Stabenow@12022280325.iddd.tpc.int,
remote-printer.Senator_Levin@12022241388.iddd.tpc.int,
remote-printer.Senator_Pryor@12022280908.iddd.tpc.int,
remote-printer.Senator_Harkin@12022249369.iddd.tpc.int

ps- you are only allowed 6 faxes per day or 20/wk- so this is set up for 5/day, four days in a row. Also, you have to send the next email a full 24 hours after the previous email- ie if you send one to the first 5 Senators today at 1pm, wait until 1:05 tomorrow to send the next email or it will get bounced.

2. Here's a copy of the letter I'm faxing to as many as possible -
Senator Mark Dayton said he might vote no -- and maybe others will join him (from both sides of the aisle): Feel free to crib from my letter if you want:

Dear Senator:

How can you, in good conscience, vote to confirm Condoleeeza Rice for Secretary of State? As Security Advisor, she was responsible for conveying the false justifications for this disastrous, illegal and aggressive war to the American people and to the Congress. We need a Secretary of State who tells the truth, who has integrity, and who can be trusted by other countries. Condoleeza Rice does not meet those requirements. Not only should you impune her integrity -- you should demand that she show you some evidence of her integrity!

I oppose her appointment as Secretary of State, and I support the efforts of Senators Barbara Boxer and John Kerry to obtain answers from her on the matter of misleading America into war. I support their votes against her appointment, and I urge you to do the same in the full Senate.

Almost 1,400 American soldiers have been killed and tens of thousands wounded and maimed. Over 100,000 Iraqis have been killed, at least 50% of whom were innocent women and children!! Many others have been imprisoned and tortured, in this war—a war based on falsehoods, and a war that also holds grave consequences for America's reputation as a just and conservative country for whom the use of a force is a last resort.

The administration is now stuck in a quagmire in Iraq, similar to the one in Vietnam in which over 50,000 US soldiers and over one million Vietnamese were killed—and now the Bush Regime is threatening to do the same to Iran, Syria, Venezuela and others.

Nearly 60% of the American people oppose the Bush Regime's war in Iraq. The American people cannot continue to pay for these reckless and bloody policies, and we can no longer tolerate war crimes being committed in our name.

I urge and implore you to vote NO on the nomination of Condoleeza Rice as Secretary of State, a person whose lies have resulted in countless unnecessary deaths, maiming, torture and misery. Please stand up for your constituency, who DO NOT want Ms. Rice in this position. Thank you.

Sincerely,

(me)

6. Does the fax service work?
Reason I'm asking is because were putting so much faith
in it work and i'd hate for someone to be duping us, as
in the company that does this. Reason I say that is my
faxes to senator go out fine but when I send a test
message to myself I get messages saying

Permanent Failure: Bad destination system address
Diagnostic-Code: smtp; Permanent Failure: Bad destination system address

This test page says my number should work
http://www.tpc.int/verify.html

But my area code isn't listed here:
http://www.tpc.int/fax_cover_auto.html

Has anyone in the coverage area tried to send themselves
a test fax?

Call me paranoid but i'd hate for this company to be
filtering out messages and us being unsuspecting.

11. I searched around on the Internet...
and I can't find any bad reports on the tpc.int service.
Seems that everyone that uses it has no complaints.

Sorry to be an alarmist, it's just I wanted to make sure.

12. I bought 100 faxes through faxthroughemail because I did not trust this
free remote server system... Here is the link http://tinyurl.com/6wwyz.

It has worked great and I received a confirmation every time. No failures out of 80 sent.

I use http://capwiz.com/wa/dbq/officials/ to get the fax #s
