Contact SY HERSH with our collective election data, immediately
Edited on Mon Nov-08-04 09:18 AM by txindy
There isn't a doubt in my mind that Sy Hersh is all over these election 'irregularities' like green on grass, but he may not have seen the data we've all seen here. We need to contact him immediately and point him straight to it.

Let's each assume that no one else has sent a single word to anyone in the print media (and ALL foreign press, including TV), especially Hersh. Assume it's up to each of us to get this done. Then proceed from there. That's what I'm doing. Send them the links to our collective data. Here are good places to send them:

http://www.blackboxvoting.org

http://www.independentmediasource.com/evotingfraud.htm

http://www.ac.wwu.edu/~adamsb6/elections/

Send this to 'The New Yorker' magazine in care of Seymour Hersh. newsbreaks@newyorker.com Send it to 'The Daily Show'. Hersh was a recent guest. They WILL be able to locate him. I know he must be on this story. We need to help him as best we can.

Any other collective links available or other data, please post below. We can't send the media a link to every thread, though.

4. I never saw this posted anywhere
Edited on Mon Nov-08-04 09:36 AM by txindy
But thanks for the helpful suggestion. One person can't send this to him. We can't be certain he'll see it. That's why I suggest sending a quick email with links to allow him to follow the trail, himself. We're not going to send him tons of files to slog through, just quick emails with links to the relevant data. One of those emails is bound to make it through to him. We don't have his personal email address. We have to have it forwarded to him. Whoever sends it on will not bury him in the same data. One forwarded email will do it.

Yes, I've posted this in other threads. There are too many to keep up with. This is one central location and will eliminate the repetition. Sorry if that bothers you. Do feel free to put me on your 'Ignore' list. :hi:

2. Why do you think Sy is "all over the election irregularities?"
I have great appreciation for Hersh, but he has been genuinely devoted to the Iraqi story, including continuing investigation of abuse and the weapons looting... Did he say something to think he is involved in voter fraud investigations? Just wondering...... I hope he is.....

3. In the weeks before the election, Hersh made it known he was pro-Kerry
Edited on Mon Nov-08-04 09:33 AM by txindy
Because he was literally afraid of what another B*sh term would bring. We believe Kerry did, in fact, win. This election has a major impact on Sy Hersh's stories about Iraq and whether or not there will be follow-up on what he has reported. I can't imagine he hasn't been intrigued by what he's seen or that he hasn't heard the gossip through his media contacts that there has been a potential crackdown on the TV media touching this election story. If Hersh isn't working this story, odds are good he knows of someone who is.

6. Keith Olbermann IS definitely pursuing this if you need to keep
in touch with a mainstream journalist.

7. I know, but Bev Harris mentioned the possibility of a crackdown on TV news
http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=show_mesg&forum=104&topic_id=2636130&mesg_id=2636130&page=

I think we need to help Keith out here, too. He can't be expected to be the only MSM journalist carrying this story. They will bring too much pressure to bear on him. If the story starts popping up in the print media or radio (or foreign TV, say, Canada which broadcasts into the US, too), it'll be easier on Keith to continue coverage.

Just my thoughts, anyway.

8. Well, we can probably count out Dan Rather. And perhaps THAT is why the
forged documents were leaked to him in the first place?

9. Go throught the media contact list (Assuming it is still pinned up
somwhere) and see if we can get some new organizations to move on this.
