3. Sorry for kicking my own thread, but it's really striking me

how Condi is used by this Admin. I'm just imagining * out there trying to address Boxer's questions. She is soooo much smarter than he is -- just like Karen Hughes is -- they are good at obfuscating and "explaining" the RW agenda. * would bosh the whole thing -- it's no wonder they keep a tight rein on him and only trot him out at ceremonies like the inaugural!

5. This is really something! I wish you could all hear this ....

A caller just reported to Bensky that she heard the particularly virulent rant by Tom Delay in response to Boxer's speech about voting irregularities in Ohio. Then, when she went to the transcript to try to find his rant, it wasn't there!!! Bensky answered that members of the House and Senate (certain members I think) get to review the transcripts and make adjustments, insertions, deletions? So, Delay's whole ugly rant against Democrats and in particular Boxer, is just gone!!!

Perhaps we can all search for Delay's rant or find a written transcript?
I'm going to start searching right now.

the part where rice said the tsunami was a great opportunity
has been removed, although the part where boxer refers to it
is still there.
