More Spin -- Blackwell ahead of others, and "survey shows Ohioans approved |
|
of the way Blackwell handled Ohio's presidential election process."
Retaliate! Get the word out! Blackwell did NOT represent Ohio in a positive way for the 2004 elections! We need to let these people know their survey was not representative of Ohio. Mention the Conyers investigation! Blast the media, too, if possible.

Poll Shows Blackwell Leads GOP Governor’s Race, Moves Past Montgomery and Petro
(Columbus) A statewide poll of Republican voters shows Ohio Secretary of State Ken Blackwell has moved past all other candidates in the race for the 2006 Republican nomination for governor. The poll, by the national research firm Market Strategies of Detroit, showed Blackwell with a 15 point lead over Betty Montgomery and an 18 point lead over Jim Petro. Blackwell received the support of 36% of all Republicans, while Montgomery received 21% and Petro 18%."
<snip> " “This survey shows Ohioans approved of the way Blackwell handled Ohio’s presidential election process,’ said pollster Fred Steeper. “When Republicans learned more about Ken Blackwell over the past year and coupled his job performance with Blackwell’s mainline conservative Republican positions on abortion, marriage and taxes, his support increased significantly.
" “Not only has Ken Blackwell leapfrogged the other two candidates in a head to head race, he has a golden opportunity to increase his support among Ohio Republicans as they get to know him even better,” concluded Steeper.""
"The phone survey of 511 Republican voters was conducted between November 30 and December 5, 2004 and has a margin of error of plus or minus 4.4 per cent. "

5. No big surprise that Bwell is in the lead... |
|
If Blackwell is leading in the Republican nomination process--that's no surprise.
Since the Democrats lambasted Blackwell--the Republicans like him even more--now that he's the nemesis of the Democrats.
I hope Blackwell is nominated, because he will have his ass handed to him--big time. Democrats and the African-American community that was forced to wait 10 hours to vote--will certainly be highly motivated to vote against Blackwell in the gov election.
Republicans may be eager to nominate a two-bit con artist for the Rep gubernatorial ticket. However, they're eagerness is outmatched by the passion and anger of the Ohio Dem voters who will not allow that thug to be their governor.

6. ahhh his payoff... governor. |
|
sad thing is - this is not an exaggeration... its just the truth. Say it with me, "Governor Blackwell." The only reason Harris didn't get to be governor was 'cause of ol' Jebbie. They probably told her a spot in congress has a better future anyway.

Not that my vote would count...but say, hypothetically that it did count-If I lived in Ohio I'd vote for anyone by Blackwell! Something tells me that he won't be enjoying too much time on the campaign trail. He's got some pressing issues he needs to address! Too bad for him!
