CNN HAS CHANGED THE EXIT POLL INFO ONCE AGAIN!
I have written a letter to these "people" asking why, in the name of decency, they KEEP CHANGING THE TOTALS???

You may remember that about a month ago we were talking about how the "liberals" have voted for "*" a 2% more than in 2.000.

The figure has CHANGED and now (today) you'll see that there is NO DIFFERENCE between the 2.000 and 2004 totals.

Moreover, is clear that CNN has decided to blame the females for "*" "victory"! And the HISPANICS too.

Until today CNN STILL CLAIMS THAT HISPANICS WENT FOR "*" in a 44% margin.

NBC HAS DEBUNKED THIS CLAIM BY CORRECTING THEIR NUMBERS! Hispanics, apparently voted for "*" in a 34% margin.

Also, "*" is said to have "won big" respect to 2.000 (CNN claims it) IN THE CITIES BIG AND SMALL.

That's the end of the story. Those are the main elements that CNN has decided to make responsible for "*" "election."

Unbelievable!

1. Fully and subtley State controlled Media for real....
This is a hard thing to fight.

I don't have all those numbers on my hard drive, we'll need to float every fact we have to make sure people have the truth.

The truth is disappearing down a 'memory hole'.

6. With each passing day it becomes painfully clear- CNN belongs to them!
Period. Pure and simple. The White House Propaganda Machine! Didn't anyone tell them that Fox already has that position all sewn up? They are slowly exposing themselves. Maybe that's a good thing!

10. They're just doing it to fuck with you, Raul.
Sitting around at CNN Center, changing the numbers on the website, reading DU, and giggling at your reaction.

From the looks of it, they'll be playing the game for a long, long time.

This is CNN.

11. Oh yeah, one more thing, EXIT POLL REFORM!
Yep, we need to take this out of the hands of Mitofsky or whatever his name is.
This is too big to trust to one organization like that.
We need to have an open system, maybe have some Linux guys do the exit polling, keeping it all out in the open. :)

14. The system IS open, Enquirer!
Since exit polling is a private business enterprise, you are free to develop a more accurate statistical model, start your own business, offer your services to clients, and make money.

Build a better mousetrap, and the world will beat a path to your door.

This may not be it.

16. I mean Open as in "out in the open".
And yes, it can be private, but I want ALL the details out in the open ASAP. Methodology, employees, numbers. None of this waiting for the Massah to speak!

17. Then do it that way. Become the Massah.
5 easy steps:

1. Come up with a better statistical model (one that more accurately measures the desired data).

2. Start your own business.

3. Offer your services to news organizations, candidacies, and advocacy groups.

4. Sign contracts with your clients, that specify that all data will be released with each poll.

5. Publish all information with each poll.

6. Make money!

There! You've accomplished all that you desire in poll transparancy, and made a nice living in the process!

23. You can do it, Enquirer!
This is America, where a poor immigrant boy can grow up to become King of Chicago!

If Al Capone could find success at his chosen career, so can you. Live the American Dream!

12. So, more women voted for Bush this time, but....
They claim the reason the early polls were off was because they over-sampled women and women were voting for Kerry.
:wtf:
So many contradictions, so little time....

Funny thing is, alot of Repukes dont trust Mitofsky either.
Perhaps a bit of common ground to work with...

25. Is there a difference between
"orignal data" and the "raw data"??

If so, is the material to be archived at Roper Center to be "raw data"?

Inotherwords, is there anything about the Roper data that will be more valuable than what has been seen to this point?

When exactly is this data to be sent to Roper?

28. semi-related question on exit polls
now that Washington state gov's race has been recounted, with Gregoire as the winner by 100+ (as opposed to first count where she was down 500+ votes)...does that final total square better with the exit polls? In other words, razor thin with slight edge to Gregoire? Or in proportion to up-ticket races, does the switch of 600-700 votes in her favor roughly account proportionally for a 1.3% switch (back) to Kerry from Bush?
Hope I expressed this remotely answerably...stats stuff in confusing.

Numbers from http://www.exitpollz.org
Washington Kerry Bush Exit poll
54.9% 45.1%
Declared result:
53.6% 46.4% 1.3% shift to Bush
