bushcheated04.com sneak preview, feedback and submissions needed
Some of you may know that bushcheated.com/org/net is owned by the RNC. What they did not tie up was bushcheated04.com ;-)

The goal is to create something that is funny, crude, true, clever and visually compelling. Something the fark.com crowd will spend a few minutes perusing, and hopefully taking away information on all aspects of cheating, suppression, tabulation fraud, ballot box stuffing.

Need photoshopped images, flash animations, cartoons, poems, photos of election fraud graffiti, short election fraud commentary (think in the style of Maureen Dowd or Molly Ivins). Also looking for photos of people holding up signs that communicate what they want to communicate about election fraud. My sign says, "Minority voter suppression is not equal protection." I am especially looking for people who experienced disenfranchisement for comments and photos. To submit pm or email me.

Keep in mind this is just a preliminary design that needs to be populated with content.

25. BUSHCHEATED '04 bumperstickers available here ..
I have it on my car and I've begun sticking them to poles and stuff around the city (and that city is Washington DC) buy a bunch and place them all over!

www.redefeatbush.com

they did alot to help Kerry win, and then they did alot to protest the stolen election. David Lytel deserves your support, he held rallies in DC he is speaking out and doing all those things we talk about doing. I have volenteered with him and I encourge everyone to look at his new site... the evolution of redefeatbush... at

www.left.org

... go here and see the new media he is starting too.. the video, "Left up to us" is a great video with clips from not only the protests that happened on january 20th, but also election fraud video pieces.

More on this site and its new "Majority Media" .. look for it and support them if you can. Buy a bumper sticker, donate or just sign up.

thanks

4. The cheating started with the census undercount
of big city African-Americans. How many state or national representatives were lost by "blue" cities and states due to the criminally fraudulent census count?

12. Any DUers actually experience disenfranchisement?
I wasn't around too much back then, did anybody experience weirdness that prevented them, or almost did, from voting?

My polling place was hard to find, but thats about it.
It was actually very easy to vote, I was almost dissapointed, but I live in a pretty affluent area, mostly Democrats, in Broward County.

Any links to DU messages where stuff happened to people?
Sounds pretty creepy.

15. I was here then and do not remember DUers saying it happened
to them. The disenfranchised were primarily poor and minority. We will probably have to seek them out, help them put their experience into sign form and then photograph them.

Howvever in my county 400 people who were in the correct polling location but who inadvertantly stood in the wrong line for their precinct and used provisional ballots, did not have their ballots counted thanks to Blackwell.

18. You make a good point.
Does anyone have any guess as to the demographics of DU?
I mean, are most people here white?
Or I guess I mean to ask, I guess we dont have alot of poorer urban blacks and other minorities I guess.

35. The disenfranchised on DU might be liberal college students like Oberlin
College in Ohio. I was also told students from a black college in Ohio, Central State in Greene County were disenfranchised.

31. The lines were long at my precinct. It took me 1-1/2 hrs. to get through
and I considered myself lucky compared to other precincts. The lines continued to get longer during the day so I estimate there was up to a three hour wait. There were two precincts located at one location, which would have been confusing if it weren't for MoveOn and ElectionProtection folks guiding people to the correct lines. I did get to vote but my next door neighbor couldn't because he had to work and my other neighbor had to vote provisionally.

I'm in Columbus, Ohio

13. Cool! My site will be grandtheftelectionohio.com
I have already registered the name so the RNC cant get it.

Im going to have a black and white comic strip, very film noirish drawn by me about a guy named Tex who has been hired to do "jobs" for the "Chairman" in Ohio on election day. Sort of like grand theft auto except much darker.

I'll be sure to link your site.

I am looking for cartoons/flash animation with emphasis on election fraud with special emphasis on grand theft theme but anything election related is good.

If anyone feels creative let me know.

23. Please read: it's good but missing the most IMPORTANT issue
please,

we are eating up the red herring and swallowing it whole.

the real issue is electronic voting machines - Diebold, ESS, BBV, etc...

We have to draw attention to this at every opportunity. I believe every time we put out information on election fraud that only focuses on Ohio and voter suppression, we are playing directly into the hands of the people that perptrated the theft.

I don't mean to minimize the problems with voter suppression, but the fact remains that the election probably could not have been stolen without the electronic voting machines. No matter how long the lines were, many people waited in them to vote. It's what happened to their votes AFTER they voted that is the REAL problem!

Look at Georgia, where everything swung 180 degrees immediately after the electronic voting machines were put in.

Please, put something on that site about paperless ballots, electronic voting machines, election fraud, etc. It's really important!

Thanks

27. I agree, what I am trying to do is create something for the majority
of people who will not take the time to read the Conyers report, Stephen Friedman, etc. This is intended to reach the fark.com crowd. These are not people you are going to get to read a 1000 word article, much less 93 page PDF. These are the people who will never watch C-SPAN.

If you read my rhyme it ends with Computers count the votes, so no one can see, They claim Bush won, I say prove it to me. Ohio had 70% paper ballots and that did not prevent tabulation fraud.

While I agree BBV is the most important issue, the issue we can prove right now and personify is voter suppression. The GOP cannot win in states that have a significant minority population without suppressing. This is the issue that fair minded republican moderates will be repulsed by.

Most important of all this site is meant to piss off chimpie and his turd blossom by diminishing their man-date. The only way they are going to ever hear about this site is if it is funny. We will get a lot further if we study the techniques of Jon Stewart, the Modern World and Maureen Dowd

holding up signs that state what happened. Margert Bourke White one of the WPA photographers did a book called "You Have Seen Their Faces" photos she shot during the depression. The photos personify what happened.

29. I've got a "sailor's mouth" but try to tone it down
I think using "inappropriate" language and mocking photos (e.g. small penis) will do more harm than good. If you're trying to communicate to the average folks who don't know what really happened, try not to alienate them right off the bat.
