Raw Story: Letter: Congressman asks FBI to investigate claims
Letter: Congressman asks FBI to investigate claims

Friday, January 28, 2005

Rep. John Conyers, Jr. (D-Mich.) called on the Federal Bureau of Investigation Friday to investigate allegations of electoral tampering in Clermont County, Ohio, which RAW STORY revealed Wednesday.

Rep. Conyers has received a letter from the Justice Department in response to an earlier letter the congressman issued. The Department said they had found nothing significant to support claims that Triad Election Systems tampered with electronic voting machines in Hocking County, Ohio.

In response, Conyers issued a new letter Friday which thanks the Department for investigating earlier charges, and asks them to expand their inquiry to include an examination of charges that stickers were placed on ballots in Ohio.

3. yay Conyers, and let's also notice this part:
<<The Department said they had found nothing significant to support claims that Triad Election Systems tampered with electronic voting machines in Hocking County, Ohio.>>

Can we have a parallel FBI to go along with our parallel president and parallel exit pollers? And maybe some parallel BOEs and a Department of Peace that has a leggy instead of an army?

4. Gonzales's job will be to tell people "There is nothing to see here,

move along" like Officer Mackey in South Park. That is the real reason he was selected for AG.

Ashcroft quit because he wants to have a political career after this administration.

6. If Ashcroft cannot win against a dead person, how can he have
a "political career?" And he can forget a record deal also?
