"*" the AWOL, calls his troops to order
Edited on Fri Jan-28-05 03:47 PM by RaulVB
The ranks seemed to be breaking so the AWOL "leader" has called the "rethugs" in Congress to a weekend meeting starting tomorrow.

West Virginia is the location and there, the "rethugs" in Congress will threatened to follow the Party line (WH) or assume the consequences of challenging the "leader."

Yep, that's the difference, THEY HAVE ONLY ONE MESSAGE AND ALL OF THEM MUST STAY ON MESSAGE.

No naysayers are allowed on their side and to beat them, we have to understand that.

All of their bills and "electoral reform attempts" are surely going to be reviewed in this meeting.

(Heard on AAR early this morning)

1. but...
do we then become what we hate? We are the party of inclusion and of diversity (regardless of what is being spun). To ignore the vareid beliefs of progressives is to lose that progressiveness.

Is winning worth losing our selves?

2. Not quite...
What really "bugs" me here is to see people that is obviously repeating talking points and those could be easily identified if we were to be responsible while delivering our message. Also, A UNIFIED MESSAGE, will be great to have too!

That's the lesson you can learn by knowing what your adversaries are doing.

3. There's nothing wrong with having a strong party whip...
and we Dems don't have one now.

Dems shouldn't ignore varied beliefs, but left unchecked, elected Dems will make pacts with the devils if the party isn't there for them when they need leadership and counsel. (It works both ways.)
