1. actually, afghan is a sucess story as long as we don't mess with
the heroin trade. those guys are too busy building massive ass villa's to be concerned with running americans out. hell things probably work a lot better under american rule.

8. Exactly the same
Criminals rule there too.

I don't think the Afghans are ANY BETTER than before. Particularly the women.

3. Is my tin foil hat on too tight or does the MSM seem to have
stepped up their Bush whoring in the last couple of days? Think they are circling the wagons and going to try and elbow their way through the "paid journalists" scandal. Think there are so many more out there waiting for the other shoe to drop they have banded together to try and ride out the nastiness.

Watched a few minutes of Judy Woodruff this afternoon and I swear she was one breath away from panting into the mic she wants to have King Chimp's baby. She made silly, partisan statements concerning the Iraqi elections presented as facts instead of opinions. Wish I could recall exactly what she said but it was :puke: and it is getting worse.

4. Actually Russert didn't really say it was a success...
Whoever the "MSNBC" is asking the question said it was somewhat of a success.

Russert's response included:

"Afghanistan does have a popularly elected president. He’s more like the mayor of Kabul then the president of the country, because warlords still run much of the country."

Calling him the "Mayor of Kabul" is hardly a WH talking point.

9. I know Russert will never be accused of being left wing...
but I would never put him in the same catagory as O'Rielly and Hannity...

13. LOL... hardly...
I do find I can generally watch his interviews of Democrats... can't say the same for Hannity in particular.
