My "interview" with Mister "BS"
Edited on Sat Jan-29-05 02:05 PM by RaulVB
I have some "breaking news" regarding the US exit polls.

I WAS WRONG. THEY DON'T WORK HERE, THEY WILL NEVER WORK AND THE TRUTH IS THAT I'M A REPUBLICAN.

Let's start explaining what I just said:

I've had an interview with a Chilean exit poll "expert" (let's call him "Pepe"), he told me that he "talked" to someone who knew somebody who apparently talked to a friend of a pollster in OHIO (USA) on November 2nd, 2004.

They claim that instead of a brochure and the exit poll sheets to be used while questioning people at the exit of the poll station, they received...TOILETTE PAPER!

After that, they got their pre-arranged wages for the day and went home.

Warren Mitofsky was absolutely right on his "analysis", end of the story.

Sorry we wasted so much time during the last 10 weeks, you guys, and I "apologize" for not telling you that I actually voted for "*"

"Good bye"!

3. Oh so that;'s what happened.
And here I was believing the story we were fed about the fact that when they took the exit polls in the afternoons, most of the voters were Democrats and the story that since the Democrats were more approachable, they registered more votes which explains why the exit polls magically switched in the early morning hours, as if by magic.
Now it appears that the truth lies in the toilet paper. Hope they used quality paper like Charmen- wouldn't want to risk calling an election on a store name brand.

Thanks, "Pepe", for the insight! Who knew?
