Not only has Blackwell received awards from the NAACP but he is also scheduled to be the guest or keynote speaker at no less than 3 Black History Month events in Ohio. He is also featured in a book (recently published by his daughter) that lauds the achievements of black figures in Ohio. Additionally, his wife has just been named as the temporary head of the public school system.

The fact that Blackwell actively worked to suppress minority voters seems to be lost on the black community in Ohio.

Class-ism, Racism or both. Either way, I'm disgusted.
