I wanted to invite you to participate in a first ever live online
chat with Congressman Louis Slaughter, Ranking Democrat on the House
Rules Committee, and me on Tuesday, May 10, 2005, beginning at 3:00
p.m. eastern time and ending at approximately 4:00 p.m. (Questions
will be accepted earlier). The "chat" is being hosted by the
Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee.  To join in on the chat

Tuesday afternoon's on-line chat will be a revolutionary event where
two of the leading Democrats in the House pool their resources and
expertise to interact with you to respond to your concerns and
questions. Among the topics that I expect will come up include the
Ohio presidential election and election reform; the Jeff Gannon
scandal; the recent disclosure that Bush agreed to go to war in the
summer of 2002, before they even bothered asking for authority; the
Schiavo case and the Republican assault on the judiciary; Bush's
attempted rip off of the Social Security System; the various
additional abuses and misuses of power by the GOP Majority; the
upcoming legislative agenda; and the state of the Democratic Party.
