I will be fascinated to see an accounting of the funds received and disbursed. It is a 501-C, right?

1. I would say to email bbv.org, but
when I have emailed with questions like "how many FOIAs were mailed, of these how many were and were not complied with?" and "where can I find the scanned documents posted online resulting from the FOIAs?", I got no response. When I wrote again, my email had evidently been blocked.

You might try posting your question on Free Republic... she posts there.

2. Call me suspicious, but...
...you'd think the president of BBV who still posts here would happily answer those questions if the organization has nothing to hide, but I'll bet that she doesn't. Actually, Bev still posts here under a few different names ...maybe she'll pop in and insinuate that you are a freeper for daring to ask (how's that for hypocrisy?).

Anyway, I'm sure they will be filing their required IRS form 990 any day now that all 501c3 organizations have to file, right?? I checked guidestar.com but there is nothing there from BBV yet...shocking.

I'm sure they have a team of "accountants" working hard on it day and night....or perhaps the holdup is all the writing of new and improved excuses for why it hasn't been done yet and why the real numbers are not going to match previous claims.

3. Well, I don't mean to imply anything...
But I think it would lay to rest a lot of suspiscions.

What state is BBV incorporated in?

I'll check on that Monday.

12. They do have a team of accountants...
Edited on Sat Jun-25-05 08:17 PM by Andy_Stephenson
Her name is "Sonja Johnson" and she works out of my livingroom...according to documents Kelvin Mace has. I am sure her books are in order. Noting to worry about.

Editing for pain med induced misspelling.

22. 990 is only required if
gross receipts are over $25,000 per year (last time I looked at regs) If they are don't have $25k in receipts that can be traced, they won't file IMO

7. Perhaps, I was divided as to where to put it.
BlackBoxVoting.org was so intimately involved in the 2004 result and aftermath that it seemed to belong here.

But feel free to ask the mods to move it if you disagree. I'm easy. :)

23. that's something you can't accuse ME of
as someone who was onto Bev's fraud from the beginning (and she wasn't alone as you know), let me say that that tactic you just used of accusing someone of being associated with an agreed-upon villain strikes me as very familiar...

For example Bev (and her supporters, some of whom are now her detractors) reflexively implied that I was working for Diebold.

A non-profit organization's financial records are public information. They are due fifteen days after the fifth month after the end of the organization's fiscal year.

If their fiscal year ends in December, the information should be public at this time. If the fiscal year ends in July, then it would not yet be available.
