In The Northwest: Teresa Heinz Kerry hasn't lost her outspoken way

COUNTING THE VOTES: Heinz Kerry is openly skeptical about results from November's election, particularly in sections of the country where optical scanners were used to record votes.

"Two brothers own 80 percent of the machines used in the United States," Heinz Kerry said. She identified both as "hard-right" Republicans. She argued that it is "very easy to hack into the mother machines."

"We in the United States are not a banana republic," added Heinz Kerry. She argued that Democrats should insist on "accountability and transparency" in how votes are tabulated.

"I fear for '06," she said. "I don't trust it the way it is right now."

I don't know why there wasn't a bigger outrage when Max Cleland lost. Those Diebold machines are a fraud, and helped ensure another bogus presidential outcome.

And Roy Barnes. I was very surprised at that since as long as I could remember I knew who he was since I don't live far from the Georgia line and all that (I'm in Tennessee). Mrs. T kicks ass. She would've been a brilliant First Lady. So much better than Laura. I'm glad she's speaking out again. I wonder why she is though... Maybe it's just on her mind or maybe Kerry is working on something or something is about to happen and they know and are revealing to us? :shrug: She talked about this shortly after the election too. At 4pm eastern Kerry was winning and the exit polls were showing Kerry 57% and Bush 43%. The Kerry team was all calling him "Mr. President" and got him to go clean up and shave and then before we knew it he was conceding.

Only Theresa has the guts to say the election was stolen. Conyers and Boxer have implied it but THK is the only one who states it. Everyone else id CYA. Howard Dean says nothing about this.He and everyone else say the election wasn't stolen. I think the only one would speaks the truth is Theresa. Too bad she can't be president.

12. I think with Teresa

she doesn't have any political ties. She doesn't have to worry about someone coming after her like the others do and their careers being ruined. I've read on BradBlog about a month or so ago someone posted and told how one of Kerry's daughters was threatned. All they have to do with Teresa is play the "four more years of hell" or "shove it" clip of her and they can discredit her more easily then Kerry.
