Poll question: What is your interpretation of this graph?
Edited on Fri Jul-22-05 06:52 AM by TruthIsAll
It shows the straight line trend relationship between the recorded state presidential vote and corresponding state exit poll completion (response) from solid Bush states to solid Kerry states, sorted left to right.

1. The GOP instructions for Repukes to be phony in their responses
to exit polls theory. There was not way of checking who the people were who walked out of the polls and down the block. Repukes were told to psy-ops and respond in a wrong fashion be it silence or lie or for local workers to pretend they were voters at that poll. The result was overconfidence during the day and many dems staying home instead of hiring the babysitter and heading to the polls after work.

I'm just saying... it could be so many things. Other ways of fooling with the results other than those machines some people are so fixed on. Those were not scientifically secure polls outside the voting centers. Repukes could have had marching orders to obfusticate.

So may explanations & ways for the polls to be funny. The race was close and where it is - the shitheads come out and play their games.

2. What research have you done to validate your hypothesis?
Heya applegrove

The mantra I normally hear from conservatives is that the Dems try and make the exit polls look in their favor, to discourage late Republican turnout. I heard it in both 2000 and 2004.

Seems like an easy one to research, have you done any?
Just curious.

3. It explains the lack of exit polls matching the voting - as well as
anything. The facts are - we don't have the details.

We have a whole pile of assumptions. We don't know. Perhaps the real battle should be to try to motivate that 40% of Americans who didn't even vote.

I am not saying that 'in close races' the liars and the game players do not come out and start with the racial felon vetting or the rule-making to intimidate voters or whatever.

There are many ways this could have happened. Keep your options over until you have a smoking gun.

Like with the Plame investigation. It helps when you speculate to have one fact after the other making it to the news.

We don't have that smoking gun here.

Just Democrats going after each other on the basis of their beliefs as to how Rove & team use their tricks. And that divides us. And that is why this WH will never solve the voting transparency issue. Because it pays off big time in undoing our big tent.

4. It's easy to make up scenarios that can re-create an outcome.
Why not eliminate the ones that don't pan out, why leave it there to obfuscate.

I'll take your response as a 'no' to doing any research.

If you really want to keep repeating it, I'd think the appropriate thing to do is put in a little effort to check it yourself.
I did.
