or does the 2004 election keep coming up out of nowhere lately? Does anybody know if there's anything going on behind the scenes? From Matt Taibbi's article to the Kerry Email from earlier.

The story won't go away because it's true and it hasn't played out all the way. Momentum. Even my local paper had a great editorial last week, seemingly out of nowhere... http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=show_mesg&forum=203&topic_id=386066&mesg_id=386411:bounce:

7. As Duh-bya keeps showing his true colors, Americans are waking up ... |
|
... and smelling the turd blossom that is really running the country.
Aside from the MCM article, the New York Press article and other media breakthroughs about the 2004 stolen election, two other things have given me hope lately. The first was the thread several weeks ago that showed a state-by-state breakdown of Bush's popularity, as of June, 2005. Only 12 states had Bush's approval rating at 50% or better, while 13 states had him in the 30s (including Ohio at 37%!!??!!??).
The second hopeful sign is the steadily increasing proportion of Americans who tell pollsters that they believe the election was stolen. It was 20% in December, 35% in April and (according to recent post by Kip Humphrey in this forum) 40% now. (I will PM Kip to ask that he post the source of that latest statistic on this thread.)
None Dare Call It Stolen? Well, if Kip is right, 2 our of 5 Americans are now calling an election-stealing spade a spade. And I am confident the number will keep growing.
Underneath every Bush, there's a LOT of dirt.

40% of the public believes that the election was stolen?! Oh wow! And two out of five? That's pretty good! I hope so too. Hopefully Bush will be impeached and in the Hague by next year the latest! A couple of months ago here in the south Bush's numbers were 50% and that's pretty low for down here. Good news indeed!

there is a core group of people that will not ever let this die until we have fair elections again. as time goes by it will be less about 2004 and more about the future, but the issues are the same and 2004 will always be cited as an example of what is wrong.
we will never give up.

14. This was a crime. It takes years to solve some crimes and people accept |
|
that. Look at "Cold Case Files" on Court TV if you think old crimes are not important to the judicial system. Of course, this is NOT an old crime. It's just 8 months old, and they're 3 more years of goods that have been stolen which need to be recovered. A comprehensive explanation of election fraud--text and key links
or try…

15. It happened again! Random reference to stolen election on public radio |
|
:bounce:
THere was a musician playing live and being interviewed on WDET Detroit Public Radio this afternoon. He was answering a question about whether or not songs ever just flow out real easily. He said he was writing his only overtly political song for a Move On benefit album and he was so "angry about the war and angry about Bush stealing the election"... The interviewer took it in stride with a 'mmm hmm', not really saying anything...
The musician was Mike Doughty, btw.
It made me smile, so I wanted to share it. :D
I googled the lyrics:
Down in the mouth and I have right But I can feel a change is comin' on Bloom like a flower in bluest night Bloom like the sunlight in my song
Dum dum dum dum dum dum dadum dadum dum Move on, move on Dum dum dum dum dum dum dadum dadum dum Move on, move on
All of the words you can't say right Burn my ass with anger to no end I love my country so much, man Like an exasperating friend
Dum dum dum dum dum dum dadum dadum dum Move on, move on Dum dum dum dum dum dum dadum dadum dum Move on, move on
Now na now na now Now na now now now
Yeah, I believe the war is wrong I don't believe that nations can be steered Lead the world with smarts and compassion By example, not coercion, force and fear
Dum dum dum dum dum dum dadum dadum dum Move on, move on Dum dum dum dum dum dum dadum dadum dum Move on, move on
Ads for the Army on cable Between ads for soda and skin cream What about the kids that you signed up? Do you really love them as you claim?
Now na now na now Now na now now now
Dum dum dum dum dum dum dadum dadum dum Move on, move on Dum dum dum dum dum dum dadum dadum dum Move on, move on
Down in the mouth and I have right But I can feel a change is comin' on Bloom like a flower in bluest night Bloom like the sunlight in my song

16. Interesting. I'm hearing it all today...with Hackett and Schmidt. |
|
And DIEBOLD. But there's a pretty low turnout anyway, which could be good for us.
