2. We have been doing quite a bit in PA...

Working to get a VVPB law at state level; testifying at Governor's Task Force and HAVA Board; we have numerous groups in the state working, etc.

4. No Law yet... PA Legislature is in Summer Recess...

A VVPR bill (similar to Section 2 of Rush Holt Federal bill) is being circulated to members of the General Assembly over the summer for co-sponsorship. We are starting to promote this (it is currently in re-write.)

Citizens petitioned in June for re-exam of the Danaher, their check was cashed and Dept of State needs to respond.

PA Dept. of State otherwise is in the process of certifying voting systems for HAVA purchase. Monday will the the third (yes, THIRD!) tryout for the UniLect Patriot (!) and a bunch of us will be in the audience.

We have 10 meetings scheduled with PA Congresspeople to Lobby for HR 550; 8 are on Working Assets as part of In-District Lobby Days and 2 are on our own (there is one additional pending, for late August.)
