Sorry, this is sort of a background piece to something I posted the other day. Activists here have been investigating this voter database because SOS Mary Kiffmeyer abruptly discontinued the contract and placed the employees under gag order (I posted about how FairVote reported on this the other day). Kiffmeyer's official story was that her office felt that they needed to get the source code from "elections.com" and then not to keep on paying them to implement the system...but the exact terms of ending this contract are what employees are under orders not to talk about...not to mention why her office has the source code.

people need to pay attention!

In the old days, employees under a "gag order"
could leak their story to the PRESS.
