Tax Returns for Black Box Voting.org? |
|
Where is BBV's tax return for 2004? How many extensions to non profits get? Similarly, the Election Center also has not posted it's 2004 tax return.
Funny, Ms Harris criticizes ACCURATE because they are funded, yet she does not disclose her funding.
At www.guidestar.org here is all I could find:

1. The non-profit I worked for (as well as the one I was on the board of) |
|
both had to have their books open to the public, but didn't have to make it easy. Last I heard, you had to visit to claim the right to see the books.
I worked as the bookkeeper for the one, and maintained a copy of all the financial records for public inspection. Every so seldom someone would want to see it. It was also the in-house copy. (Although not everybody believed that.)
Non-profits that are contributer-friendly tend to make their expenses public (with a bit o' editing)--their income figures, too, but with a lot of editing.

2. BBV.org should be transparent |
|
Since BBV.org is the first to criticize all others, they should be the first to show us what they have.
Show us the money, please?
Out of fairness, transparency, honesty.
where do you get the money, and what do you do with it? What results can you show?

IMHO,
ESI is busy defending stolen elections, while BBV is uncovering them. Personally I'm more concerned about ESI's funding. But that's just my opinion.

7. ok, but this is a Bev Harris thread, what ya got on ESI |
|
Is there an ESI thread? That is certainly a worthy thread, maybe it would bear fruit.
This thread is a request for transparency from someone who points the finger at others.
It would be hippocritical for BBV.org to accuse others of being swayed by donors and yet keep their own donors and financial doings a big secret.
When will Black Box Voting post it's tax return for 2004? How many extensions can they have?
The Election Center hasn't posted it's 2004 tax return either.

8. BBV has done little of the sort |
|
No evidence has been presented to any court or law enforcement agency, despite claims by Bev to have such evidence.

5. Ms Harris points the finger first, should be first to be transparent. |
|
If ESI was a non-profit last year, then they should have filed a tax return. If so, you may check it out at www.guidestar.org
However, the reason for this thread is that BBV.org is pointing the finger, and has always pointed the finger at others with the innuendo that others are influenced by their donors. This time, it is ACCURATE that she casts aspersion on.
Those who know the history remember that while Ms Harris was secretly filing a qui tam suit, she also was accusing other activists of doing the same (which they weren't).
There are a lot of questions about ESI being raised on list serves, and those questions may get answers, but the issue here is that as long as Ms. Harris portends to be an activist, and sends out "newsletters" criticizing others for receiving funding, she should provide transparency into her funding.
