GREAT ARTICLE PLEASE READ ! Bush Quit His Job BY W. LEON SMITH
Those who have worked for any of my small companies know it is a dangerous proposition to not show up for work, to ignore an assignment.

My employees know that I will probably replace them, immediately. It’s happened before.

This is what they have been told:

“If you don’t show up to do what you are supposed to do, I naturally assume that you’ve quit. The job has to be done.
It’s your duty to do it. If it doesn’t get done, then you’ve quit the job and I will replace you with someone who will do the job.
It is the task that is important, not you.
The task to be completed is why you have the job. It is not simply to give you employment.”

1. This line got me
Dereliction of duty is too kind a terminology. So is impeachment as an end-result. He didn’t shirk his duties, he ran away from them.

AWOL. He has a history now doesn't he?

2. My favorite line
"If a President will not act on a timely basis when faced with an emergency, then he must be replaced. Our national security is at stake, as are our lives."

3. This guy's a trip...I bet he pays good bonuses too.
That's the point, do the job or quit. It's not mandatory that Bush be president, he ran for the damn office. Therefore he's obliged to work and complete tasks. Not done, off the island you turkey!
