Bush under stereophonic attack - Great article from unlikely source
Even the the Business folks think he is INCOMPETENT!!!!

Bush under stereophonic attack

By : Fraser Nelson September 25, 2005

PRESIDENT Bush may have made many mistakes in the past few months, but he has made real progress on his promise to heal the wounds of last year’s presidential election campaign. It split America in two, but both sides are now uniting: against him.

In Congress, a revolt is growing among Republicans dismayed by his handling of Hurricane Katrina – seeing it as the last straw of ineptness. Right-wing columnists are fast joining their left-wing enemies to form a stereophonic attack.

Every move the president makes to show he is taking command over Hurricane Rita only serves as a reminder of what he should have done during Katrina. Last year’s hero of the right is now seen as an embarrassment to conservatism.

In New York, from where these words are written, the small but dedicated band of Republicans are in despair. They swallowed hard and backed Bush to the hilt in the election – but now find warnings of the Democrat neighbours coming true. It isn’t that Bush is demonic, stupid or corrupt – though all these labels are attached to him, still, in home-made posters stuck to Manhattan lampposts. There is one charge that Republicans and Democrats are now agreeing on: incompetence.

1. Marginalize Bush.
And focus on the Republicans and his media allies..Make them take a stand.Do they support the Fuzzy math of the last 5 years or will they admit there must be drastic changes made and watch them squirm.
Declare the remaining Bush supporters as the lunatic fringe on the right who despise the true values of the American republic.:patriot:

17. Not familiar with this London business source, but an interesting take.
I'll believe that the Republicans are dismayed when they stop following * around like puppy dogs and yelping, "Yes, sir, anything you say, sir, I agree with, sir."

It's disgusting. Who is standing up against him? I mean people I can see, like representatives in Congress or other Republican voices? And Americans...?

Thanks for posting this. :->

6. Ok -- I think this article is too nice to Bush --
by suggesting he or his Administration is only incompetant, rather than evil.

But still, it's great to see evidence of Republicans losing faith in him. Thanks for sharing it with us.

9. Don't they mean mono attack?
With the disregard of modern science, I would think bush would still be listening to 45s on his mono record player. Or he might be in to 8 tracks by now.

They have been against him for almost 2 years. Only the uber-wealthy and/or stupid (inherited business from daddy) support *'s economic policies.

The Republicans are attempting to scapegoat bush* and save their beloved Conservative Doctrine of government of the RICH for the RICH!

The current disasters are not the failure of a man (used loosely), but of a PHILOSOPHY!!!!
It is time to throw the FAILED CONSERVATIVE DOCTRINE on the trash heap of BAD IDEAS!

Don't let the Republican Party off the hook by blaming bush* as the problem.

The Republican Ownership Society

The FACE of Compassionate Conservatism

Republican GREED has now KILLED more Americans than Al Qaeda!

The Democratic Party is a BIG TENT, but there is NO ROOM for those who advance the agenda of THE RICH (Corporate Owners)
at the EXPENSE of LABOR and the POOR.

19. Oh I agree with you.
I love to see the chimp taking grief from his own. I just don't want us to lose sight of the REAL goal.
The chimp will be gone in a few years even if we do nothing.
This is a wonderful opportunity to drive a STAKE through the evil, bigoted, black heart of "Compassionate Conservatism".

I am surprised that we are having to fight this battle all over again. This "Everything for the RICH and the POOR can fight for the Crumbs" doctrine was PROVED a complete FAILURE when they tried it under St Ronnie. I am amazed they could sell the same old shit to America just a few years later!

I don't want to completely exterminate the Republican Party. I want to keep a few around in Zoos and protected areas so I can show them to my grandchildren and say,
"SEE. This is what happens if you vote Republican!"

26. Hear, Hear!
This is the party of government can do NOTHING well so why do anything? Bush didn't botch the response on his own. He had lots of help from bureaucrats that share his philosophy of government. It wasn't just Shrub being Idiot Boy. It was the philosophy.

There's a good deal of buyer's remorse these days. My friend who has always said it doesn't make a dime's worth of difference who gets elected, is now convinced that it does matter.

12. When you don't have a heart, like Rove, you shouldn't be in charge...
"Karl Rove, his chief political strategist, is not fulfilling this role. His genius lies in winning elections and working out what swing voters in Ohio want to hear. This is partly why the president has taken such a kicking over Katrina. Many failings were his fault, but his inept spin machine absorbed the blame ."

24. But they havent given any recognition
that TDITWH may intentionally act incompetent to kill people which would make him demonic. The only reason why i call him stupid is because he thought all of us wouldn't know what he was up to. Chimps is more of a sinister murderer and less of an incompetent innocent guy.

Actually incompetent is way too innocent and lets * off too easily so im going with the Demonic Monkey Shine toy, every time * moves *'s jaw something bad happens.
