|
Edited on Tue Oct-04-05 07:31 PM by FogerRox
A little bird told me that the Avante Vote Trakker with 30 inch touchscreen, failed the 2002 VVSS testing .
Maybe we'll see an update soon at NASED.

3. Got word from Rick Gleim of Avante |
|
Thank to Frances And Werner from the Essex County task force on Voting Rights--
1. The Avante did not "fail" the ITA test. 2. The information came to Rusciano who had been told of problems by someone in Warren Cty. who had been told by Avante of some problems. 3. The Avante machine has passed the software test. 4. Some of the imported components ( I suspect the printer or the monitor) have parts that lack US Underwriters approval. That is what is holding up the ITA approval. Avante is working on this, in the meantime they are processing the Warren Cty. order.
Frances said she would call Rusciano to clear up the misunderstanding.

Rusciano is the HAVA Director in NJ in the Attorney Generals office, Division of Elections.
