The International Center for Disability Resources on the Internet (ICDRI) to Provide Accessibility Oversight Consulting Services for Sequoia Voting Systems

ICDRI today announced an agreement with Sequoia Voting Systems to provide comprehensive Accessibility Oversight Consulting Services for their Edge based Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) solutions. Cynthia D. Waddell, ICDRI’s Executive Director and Law, Policy and Technology Consultant, will lead the effort.

1. And on a related note....
.....wasn't there a strong connection between PSInet (where in 2001 Ms. Waddell was a Senior Consultant) and one of the Independent Testing Authorities?

In fact, unless I have my wires totally crossed (which is not out of the question) wasn't PSInet one of the ITAs at one time?

Check out the name Sean Southworth, PSInet and the 2001 timeframe.

There may be nothing to it, but these days one just can't be too sure.

2. Diebold & disabilities
Sorry I can't access my files, but I'm sure that a national blind
persons' association endorsed Diebold DRE's with disabled
access feature AFTER Diebold "contributed" $100K to the
association. That is, IIRC. Sequoia may be following suit?
Wonder how much Cynthia's fee is...
