Good Enough for a Campaign Slogan? |
|
I was listening to Randi Rhodes, talking about the lack of a paper trail for what the NSA has been doing, and its dire consequences (of not knowing what the hell they are really doing)
And it struck me:
WWAPT
What is WWAPT?
WE WANT A PAPER TRAIL
WWAPT
It would look good on a bumper.

2. Best to have a paper BALLOT. |
|
A paper trail presents certain problems, although it's far better than just DREs. Maybe WWAPB ... and don't forget hand counting. That's the ideal: PBHC. http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=show_mesg&forum=203&topic_id=406688&mesg_id=406688

3. I agree ... too many W's! |
|
I also agree that we want a paper ballot for electoral dysfunction. I'm with you there.
But I was struck by how this also applies to the NSA spying. And so was trying to find a way for a more general slogan, that can accommodate many (dire) issues.
WWA (We Want Accountability) would work, except for the obvious attack (Waaah! crybaby Liberals)
There has to be a perfect acronym that can express this.
WWAPT sounds more adversarial for some reason. WWAPB is as well.
Any other ideas?
