True Majority wants ideas! Can you say election reform?
Couldn't hurt to get a bunch of like-minded people behind this.

Voice your ideas for action
The 2006 TrueMajority IdeaSwap is here: a tool to share your ideas with other members.

We want to know what ideas you care about as we plan for 2006, so check out the site and get involved.

The TrueMajority IdeaSwap

Dear xxxx,

We're in the midst of our annual planning process here at TrueMajority, so we'd like to know what types of things you'd like your organization working on in 2006. Here's the webpage to give us your ideas:

http://truemajority.infopop.cc/eve /

This sort of guidance makes a big difference. Last January, some of the top issues TrueMajority members said they wanted to focus on were honest elections, blocking the privatization of Social Security and opposing the Iraq War. As a result, a TrueMajority organizer was devoted to helping out state-based honest elections campaigns during the first half of 2005. We ran effective radio ads against Social Security privatization (which were covered in the national media), funded by TrueMajority members. Repeatedly throughout the year we found opportunities for members to speak out about the war, from petitions and ads to marches and rallies.

Last year, our members voiced their opinions using the TrueMajority IdeaSwap: a tool that's been revamped for a new round of brainstorming for 2006. It's fast, easy, and anonymous if you’d like. You can react to the ideas other TrueMajority members have offered so that the ones that make the most sense to the most people can bubble to the top:

To be sure, we weren't able to take on all of the good ideas you came up with (there were about 6,000 separate suggestions!), but along with those listed above, we did find opportunities to be active on member ideas like opposing torture, cutting back on nuclear weapons and suggesting more rational federal budget priorities.

So put your ideas up there! We're here to make it easy for YOU to be active, so tell us how to do it.

From the people in the back room who want to know what you think,

The TrueMajority Crew

2. Great. But a question:
Did anyone here see any evidence of "a TrueMajority organizer...devoted to helping out state-based honest elections campaigns during the first half of 2005?"

This is the first I've heard of it.
