Voting with DREs is like carving your turkey with a chainsaw.
I heard this analogy used in reference to some other topic (I can't remember what it was). I think this statement makes the point about the problems with electronically voting in a way that people can understand and could lead to further discussion. I have heard others in this forum, and experienced myself, the glazing over of people's eyes when you discuss this topic. Maybe putting it in these terms could help and lead to a discussion about the added cost, complexity and less efficient nature of DREs, not to mention lack of transparency and fraud potential.
