Like I said in another post: I can barely use my cell phone, however as a religion major I understand the power of myths and propaganda campaigns better than many people---and that is what I see going on here.

I do not wear tin foil hats by the way---I am specifically referring to language used by these posters...what's shocking is the number of DUers that are willing to believe without even bothering to educate themselves. Well, actually it's not "shocking,"....it's just working.

I think people here need to be aware of it so they can counter the moves.

I have seen posters on DU in the past couple of weeks trying to spread the myth that the computer programmers working on election fraud are "making stuff up."

I honestly think it's a move to get people to stop paying attention to researchers that are trying to expose this issue.

13. You're welcome. BTW, I totally agree with what you are saying

and it is easy for those who have not done their homework to believe some of the BS that is swirling around this forum. Even if you are have a good understanding of this issue, it is sometimes hard to know who is making legitimate counterpoints and who is simply spreading misinformation, especially when the statistics majors get rolling.
