Are Dem Senator votes against Alito Filibuster related to voting machines?
Here are Senators who voted against Alito filibuster -- I wonder what kind of voting machines dominate in their states??

2. Suggesting, I believe, that they were warned that if they didn't
vote yes on cloture that they would be 'Diebolded' in the next election.

Not that it makes any difference. I expect half of them to be replaced by our base next time around anyway, after that vote.

3. why would they not just dibold them anyway? that way
they'd get their way 100% of the time.

5. Cantwell is in WA and they don't have any more voting machines. Got
rid of them in the few counties that still had them to go for vote by mail. LAnd Shark's lawsuit may have a bit to do with that. :)

most of them even get the threat yet with e-voting and vote counting. I can't make it compute why they wouldn't vote for the filibuster.
