This is from an election activist who reads this forum every day, but doesn't have posting privileges on DU yet:
I have been reading the election forum at Democratic Underground, since last October. During that same time period, I've had Norton Internet Security with Parental Controls enabled and running on my computer every time I've accessed the Internet, including every time I've visited DU.
Tonight, I went to read the latest on DU's election forum, but was blocked by NIS's parental controls, something that's never happened before. Here is the message I received from NIS about being blocked:
Norton Internet Security has blocked access to this restricted site.

If you think this web site is incorrectly categorized, visit the Symantec Internet Security Center to report it.
LOL -- election security is now sexy! Well, its about time that my 8th grade son learned about "sex education." Utah schools are so lacking in that area that I think I'll send him right over to DU's election forum. He's sure to get a good education there!
On a more serious note, the Democratic party might want to investigate why, on the evening of Bush's State of the Union address, Internet surfers are being blocked by Symantec from accessing a very popular democratic political site. I did report to Symantec that they had this site incorrectly categorized and, in the meantime, I created an 'exception' on my personal parental control list to get past their block.
Has this happened to anyone else here?
Only in Bush's America could this happen.
