These are the guys that come up with the federal voting standards adopted (sic) by @1/2 the states.
These standards, how they are made, and whether they're followed by the Independent Testing Authorities (ITA) and the signatory states are, unfortunately, quite worthy of our concern.
They've begun work on the standards that will, one day, replace the recently approved 2005 Voluntary Voting System Guidelines that goes into effect in 2007.
