Blackwell's at it again in Ohio!
What's your take on this? Sounds like that fiber-optic network connecting all
(88) BoE's to his office will be burning with packets Tuesday. Quoted from a J30
post today by Jo Anne Karasek, an election reform heroine. Just-in-time reporting
to permit "adjustments?" Curious and skeptical minds want to know!

4. So he can adjust them using the central tabulator on his desk.
In case the election thefts in the field make mistakes.

9. What central tabulators are being used in each county? Does the SoS also
have a central tabulator or were you just joking?

10. I am not joking, I cannot provide a link but there were
posts here sometime in the past year about Blackwell having a Central Tabulator on his desk "for a legitimate reason" -- to make corrections to precinct-level data if needed.

15. The report comes from Bob Fitrakis of freepress.org.

Here's the DU thread:

Fitrakis came out with this info when he was on Laura Flanders' radio show and also on Brad Friedman's radio show. I couldn't find an archive of the Flanders show but here is Brad's:

I haven't had a chance to listen to it other than the intro to confirm it is the show that has Fitrakis on it.

On Edit: here is the Flanders show:

5. Is Blackwell on the ballot?
Seems rather a conflict of interest for him to be running an election that he is also a candidate in.

Isn't there some law against that?

6. Running tallies = How are we doing? = What adjustments should we make?
There may be benign reasons for having hourly, cumulative reporting; maybe Blackwell will have the Bat phone at hand to alert Batman when a precinct is in need of more machines, or when someone needs a ride to the correct precinct, that make sure their vote counts.

But: I doubt it.

16. This is so the election theft...
Edited on Mon May-01-06 11:40 AM by Mr_Jefferson_24
...can be effected seamlessly and without notice. When they stole the Schmidt/Hackett election from Hackett, they were taken by surprise at the closeness of the race and had to stop it, claiming glitches and processing problems, in order to alter the count. They don't want to have to keep doing this. It's obvious and inconvenient---they want to make the count adjustments, as needed, in real time without any required interruption or delay.

17. If I'm not mistaken, in my state it's
illegal for anyone to take copies of final vote results "home" with them. Is this not also so across the country? If not, it should be!! Why can't we have uniform election laws in our country? I know.....States rights etc. etc., but in the era of election fraud, something needs to be done!! In our town when we count ballots, it's in full view of anyone who cares to be present, and votes are tallied by Representatives of both parties. What's wrong with open and fair elections? ..........DUH, I know  YOU CAN'T CHEAT THAT WAY!!:grr:

Why haven't we done more in the states we control?
