Michael Moore's producer is looking for video of Andy.

9. We have footage of Andy speaking at the Nash-ional conference

Andy kicked off our second day at the National Election Reform Conference in Nashville last April, and we can get that tape to MM. There were also many videographers at the conference who interviewed Andy extensively and they can help also. he had to deal with losing his insurance, with being misdiagnosed by the rotten public system and then, mishandled as a cash paying patient at the good hospital. That's pretty much the spectrum in this country.

He talks about how he was running for office (Secretary of State) in Seattle and then how he found Black Box Voting and thought "oh, bleep." Andy's clips are intermixed with clips of BH...but the producers should have the original tapes of Andy all by himself that they could share with Michael Moore's team. The producers must have additional footage that didn't make it into the film...

At the very very end of the Nashville conference (we were literally heading out the door Sunday PM) someone from a film crew caught him singing most of "Paper Trails". Unfortunately, somebody wanted to push us out the door and barged into the shot, cutting him off. But most of it was filmed and it may be the only actual video of him doing the song.

There is audio of him doing the whole song, but with peeps from BBV chiming in to make it a duet (and I want just ANDY singing.)

He actually was a VERY good singer, and he loved the Merm (Ethel Merman.)

I was filming some other footage, was never really involved in any filming of Andy or that other person who's name shall not be uttered, sorry, wish I did, hope Mr Moore DOES this story..

for one thing it brings up the issue of people BANDING together on the Web to HELP each other in a time of need, ie no med insurance, which is an outstanding thing for Moore's film..

I did however get some of the writing of my flash I made for Andy used in an article, which made me pretty proud to have made something that would affect even a writer covering Andy's life..

No one ever really talks about it much, maybe because the pain has always been too fresh, but what people did to help Andy was inspiring beyond words. We reclaimed our humanity by our actions. It restored my faith in people.

I hope Michael Moore sees your flash. It's a beautiful tribute to Andy's memory.
