New York Will Have Hand Counted Paper Ballots in the '06 Election...
Edited on Tue May-30-06 09:29 PM by Bill Bored
...for disabled voters!

The state this week certified five machines, of which each county can then select one to buy. There are essentially two types: one that registers votes through a telephone system and another that does it through paper ballot.

But neither one will tabulate votes, meaning elections officials will still have to hand count each vote.

6. Which one?`
I think the important part is that the DoJ knows they don't have a case against NY for not complying with HAVA because HAVA is junk law.

But since you tend to trust e-voting more than most of the rest of us on this forum, what's your important point, Cocoa?

7. This is nothing new
Cocoa has always been less convinced than the rest of us, but that simply makes our arguments more precise.

When we convince Cocoa DRE voting sucks, we'll know we've won the war.
