6. What kind of a question is that?
Of course they should recount if there's a question as to the validity of the election. Just because we don't do it in this country is no reason to forego democracy elsewhere. :banghead:

18. 75% support recount in Mexico but what about recounts in US?
Shouldn't Ohio been recounted in 2004?
Shouldn't Florida been recounted in 2000 without SCOTUS interruption?

19. What an idiotic poll...
First of all, what does it matter what we American's think about it as it is their country and their decision...

Secondly, why the hell shouldn't they recount if there is a question about the ballots?

Stupid poll.

25. I care too and hope they turn it around
I just think its arrogant of CNN to poll Americans about what is a Mexican matter.

For instance, did CNN ask what the Mexican people thought about our 2000 election woes? Americans are not the center of the universe despite what our media tells us.

23. Why are US companies over there then?
Maybe a win for Obrador will be bad for maquiladora sweatshops and NAFTA?

Why is Diebold there, if it is "their country"?

If the election was fair, honest, and without significant errors, there is no need to recount. OTOH, if is was fair and honest, why object to a second count, just to be sure?

If Shrub was worried about Venezuela, he must be going bananas about this one. Will he help to organize the coup here, too?

I am not questioning reasons for the recount. I am questioning the arrogance of the poll.
