When we write to ask congress to restore OUR democracy
should we ask them to consider telling the Bush admin to allow Mexico to remain or restore their democracy as well? Also, do you think if we push this information to OUR media it may help to open them to MORE information??? A few did notice the RFK article- we need to keep kncoking IMHO. Can this be useful information?

... empty or unreadable ballots come from the poorer districts where the challenger's Party of the Democratic Revolution (PDR) is strongest.
There's an echo of the US non-count in the south-of-the-border tally. It's called "negative drop-off".

1. when we write to OUR congress, OUR email
is considered just so much spam and caught in the filter before it ever reaches the eyes of the people who work for us. :grr:

2. some are even filtering out petitions- so CALL? send post cards...
We need to keep doing something.... but now we are even subverting democracy in other countries with the same techniques (sure we did before assasinations etc.) It's like there way or the highway for Bu**sh**INc.

3. I have more faith in Keith Olbermann and Jon Stewart
than in Nancy Pelosi or Diane Feinstein nowadays. Boxer seems to be having a "come apart" so I'll leave her out of this until she's better. :silly:

We need to get MCM or Bob Fitrakis or Steve Freeman on KO to talk about our elections in the context of Mexico's election. It's a GFO for us.

5. Democrats need to decide...
...if they're going to be the party that protests the present government or the party that leads this country. The Party of Protest or The Party of Real Leaders?

6. does that mean they should try to restore democracy or
just go along and play the games as usual?
Democracy should be a major issue, perhaps issue #1, but it can't be I guess because so many peoiple are clueless.
We need verifiable elctions before we can expect much else to imporve.
