1. FYI
H.R. 550, a bill introduced by Rep. Holt of New Jersey, would protect the integrity of our elections by requiring a voter verified paper record of every vote, requiring mandatory random hand counted audits to verify the accuracy of electronic tallies, and prohibiting the use of secret software and wireless communication devices in voting machines.

I support it but here in NY, no one in their right mind would allow paperless electronic voting in the first place, so my congressman already supports it!

24. I won't publicly counter it, BUT
I have to say I am very concerned about the private audit business.

I realize that the paper trails of absolutely essential, but if it gets subverted in the ailimentary canal what good is it?

I want it amended to fix this vulnerability about a privatized auit business asap.

Then I'll support it all my conviction of heart.
