Please do this very quick thing to help Debra Bowen become CA SOS!
Go to Progressive Patriots Fund

and vote for her so she can receive $15,000 from Russ Feingold's
Progressive Patriot's Fund.

The Secretary of State's race in California may be the most important race in the nation. Bowen is great on election integrity issues. McPherson is apparently coveting Blackwell/Harris award. Check this out.

Thank you.

12. Both are, but CA has more electoral votes than OH and OH is most
Edited on Fri Oct-20-06 12:48 PM by Amaryllis
likely more fixed than CA so probably Bowen has a greater chance of winning?

28. Oh, yeah. I forgot. Bowen is. --?!--Do you trust the election system to
represent accurately the will of the voters in California? I don't. And incumbents--elected or not--still have a significant advantage.

29. Democrats also have a huge advantage in California.
fraud is not uniformly distributed throughout the U.S..

even in 2004, did California mysteriously go red? no.

is it going to become Republican this election? i very much doubt it.

is Ohio more important? hell, yes.

30. California is primed to be the next Ohio. Read up on it.
Unfortunately, Ohio is clearly also the next Ohio. Both are hugely important.

I've donated directly to her campaign. I wish she was more involved in CA-50. But she a good cookie.

23. SHe pretty much wiped up the floor with him in the debate, but in a very
gracious manner. He did not come across as the sharpest tool in the shed, I must say.

17. Correction to my OP
The winner gets $5,000. The larger amount is the total to be given out, split among all the candidates endorsed by the site.
