RUMOR -- FL gov cand Jim Davis will NOT concede IF vote is w/in 3pts
from the St. Petersburg Times political blog
http://blogs.tampabay.com/buzz/2006/11/reports_of_voti.html

Top operative inside the Davis Campaign just told their Finance Team that if they end up within 3 pts they will not concede and will need dollars for a legal challenge. They believe they have a serious electioneering bomb to drop.

2. further down in the comments section

I heard the same thing that Davis has hard evidence of election fraud but that there exit numbers are way up and they will win it without having to use the lawyers. The numbers are so good right now that they refuse to even talk about them.

4. I wish every Democrat running since 2000 had made that pledge, and
stuck to it. Election fraud will never be revealed until someone forces the issue. I'm glad to hear the Florida numbers look good.

6. I have never understood the idea of conceding
Does a concession have some legal meaning? To me, it ought to be like poker. The hand plays itself, regardless of what it is called.

7. Concessions are theater. Nothing more. They have no legal status.
