Why are we compared to the X-Files? |
|
I hate the term "Blogasphere Conspiracy Theorists"! Why does every effin story in the news have to attach that term to us?
While there is the occasional "out there" theory, I see so many facts of how this election was stolen it makes my head spin!
We're not saying aliens are coming down to earth or spirits from beyond are controlling things! Ralph Nader even believes it!
At the very LEAST many, many things went wrong and not a single one favored John Kerry! I can't believe what has happened to our country.
I can't wait until Dean, Sharpton, Moore, and company unleash verbal hell.

Hey I like the X-files ;)
But yes you are right, but they either don't want to report it or don't care so they have to call bloggers crazy to justify their utter lack of action.

3. Bloggers have the exact same resources as the TV media |
|
The difference is, Bloggers don't have to answer to their corporate bosses. TV media is scared, as they should be. That's why they're lashing out at the blogs.

5. We have to face it. We've become a threat to the MSM |
|
We have instant access to news and other data. We have contacts that can help provide expert analysis. We can find help with projects when we need it. And we do it because we want to. Because we believe in something.
Now, the media has access to the same info., but much less time to retrieve it. They have to wait for analysis after they make a formal request. The people they work with have projects of their own to complete before they can help. They do it because they're paid to do it and because their bosses tell them to do it. Plus (and this is a big plus), we've told them time and again that we are no longer going to watch them because we don't need them. A true statement, but not a well-received one, I'm sure. They've gone from Big Dog on the Block to the Pokey Little Puppy. With fleas. And the occasional worm. ;)
MSM resents us. They see this story as their big chance to slam us to the general public. They forgot that we ARE the general public.

The Xfiles was a smash success, electile dysfunction would be lucky to get half the water cooler discussion that Scully and Molder got.

8. Don't forget: Mulder was right! |
|
Yes, Fox Mulder was a conspiracy theorist. The course of the series also proved him right. He wasn't always right about the details, but the conspiracies? You betcha.

This is what I believe is the correct phrase for the repubs:
"conspiracy of silence" which means: a secret agreement to keep silent about an occurance, situation, or subject esp. in order to promote or protect selfish interests.
