need witnesses to NC 08 Recount
Hey, I am looking for first hand accounts from observers of the "recount"
of the NC 08 in Mecklenburg County.

Already have one account, wonder if there are others who might tell what
they saw.

Mecklenburg is the county with touchscreens that use the difficult to recount
"toilet paper ballot".

2. yes 2006 recount for NC-08 Kissel/Hayes
I guess my original post wasn't clear.

NC 08 Kissell/Hayes Contest

Surely some folks at DU know someone who was an observer or
else an actual counter.

Especially need someone who was in Mecklenburg.

Other counties mostly optical scan.

When he clicked next at the bottom of the first page, it erased check mark for the last candidate. Selected candidate again, then clicked next. Same thing happened on the second page. Finally, completed voting and received confirmation of all of his selections. He is only 90% confident that his votes were counted correctly, and that is a disappointment.

4871 Voter Intimidation Problem Polling Place Problem Mecklenburg North Carolina Beatty's Ford Road . Machines malfunctioning when voting on bond questions after placing vote (electronic), the machine would CHANGE the vote. This happened 3 times. She called out and said "What's wrong with this machine" at which several OTHER voters noticed that their votes had been changed/recorded incorrectly. Voter intimidation privacy-polling staff stood 1-1.5 ft behind the voter and behind all voters too
