6. whoa there ... heck of an attitude for a new poster, and many of us
that happen to be in NM right now, don't resemble your remark ...

also, in the all-hat-and-no-cattle department, NM happens to be one of the only states that conducts 3 audits of its vote count: first at the bureau of elections level, then a second audit count at the county commission level, followed by a 3rd audit count at the level of the SOS; after all audits are completed, NM submits its final count as state law requires on the 23rd of November -- the gap between Kerry and Chimpy has narrowed by a bunch, and all the repuke hoopla in NM should tell us that the chances are still there for NM to remain a blue state by a whisker (just like in 2000 -- 366 votes in favor of Gore)

7. New Mexico
also has a hell of a man in the Governor's job.

Richardson will be a great candidate in eight years, after Kerry's two terms are over.

2. Interesting
I went to JK's site today and went beyond the concession trnscript. The hope. The fight. The absolute assumption of a Kerry victory. None of it jibes with the surreal quiet of the past 11 days. Something is going to happen. Something big. Any moment. Any day now. The lightening will strike the tower.

4. Since November 3....................
I've maintained that it's not over. The law's clear, as spelled out in the Constitution - the election is not over until the electors meet on the first Monday after the second Wednesday in December.

Until then, it's all fluid and ongoing.

Bill Richardson is one savvy Democrat, and I'd say there's a very good reason for NM not having the count finished.

And don't dis New Mexico. We had a vacation home there for a long time. Until the tourists arrived. Then, outta there -------------------------->

But, seriously, Kerry is up to something, and I say the next month is going to make history. I really believe it, and have since he made that concession speech. There was a very telling line in that speech when a well-placed claque member called out something about "having your back, John," and Kerry replied, "Thank you, man, and - you watch - I've got yours." Or something like that.

Something very sly. "... you watch ..." I think that was Kerry telling the world he's not finished with this election. It just wouldn't be in his character to walk away. If they can assemble enough evidence of fraud in Ohio and Florida, not to mention New Mexico, evidence that's good enough to take into court and file suit to have the counts voided and done by hand, he can get an injunction or a restraining order against the electoral college meeting on December 13.

I say, and I truly believe, It's not over yet.
