point it's hardly fair on him this hasn't even been given a wide scale airing in the US yet, and even if he was, what is he supposed to do, without anything proved he could hardly start screaming you're illegitimate at Bush. If somehow Kerry were still to be president no one would be more pleased about it on the international scene than Blair.

I don't know what he said about Iraq exactly - I would need to see it or a transcript or something- although clearly Iraq was not involved in 9/11. On the broader point, I personally don't disagree with the idea that terrorists are against freedom, Bin Laden after all wants to create a pan Islamic fundamentalist state, I am convinced that Bush's methods of trying to ensure that freedom are wrong dangerous and do more to endanger it than preserve it.

His tie was on crooked and was not tied well, hair was a tad mussed, and his suit jacket didn't fit at all. Looked like it was about 3 sizes too small. Compared to his usual "proper" self, Tony looked a mess, at least that's what we thought at my house.

Even my mother (in her 80s) noticed this and wondered what the heck happened to Tony.
