How many smell vote rigging in PA for Clinton?
Edited on Tue Apr-08-08 04:58 PM by wowimthere
Chris Matthews talked about the whole Rendell machinery lurking in the background for Clinton and that Obama winning this state is a stretch. I know Diebold voting machines will be used in all the big cities and so we can see that their will voting irregularities. Like Ohio, I do believe that PA is ripe for nefarious activity to undermine Obama's chances of winning PA and also coming within 5 points of Clinton.

Anywhere a Diebold machine exists, I find it very hard to trust the accuracy of the vote totals.

38. I don't think the media will spin it that way
The spin (which will be bought by independents) will be that the more voters are learning more about Obama, the less they are favoring him.

Hillary 101% -- Barack -1% with 100% reporting... Total votes for Obama in the Philadelphia metropolitan area: 0. It'll be just like Harlem, where Bill has his offices. The establishment fix is in.

34. Electronic voting is inevitable.
Sorry, but it is. I guess I say that because I'm an ex-electronics/computer network guy and current web developer.

Technology is coming on strong to the voting process.

Yes, there's room for cheating, but no more so (probably less, actually) than with paper punch ballots.

40. If you are a "computer guy" you better go read some of the reports.
Princeton Computer Science Dept. studies.
California Top to Bottom Review.
Ohio EVEREST report.
Etc. etc. etc.

The only thing that is is inevitable is that we have to get rid of these paperless machines in favor of a system that uses a voter-marked paper ballot, and then back everything up with statistically significant audits.

Geesh.

WAKE UP DEMOCRATS!

22. Right.
Because votes have never been stolen, we should not even consider that to be a possibility.

Also, since racism does not exist one should never consider that to be a factor.

person to afford Hellman's mayo.

Since I'm a poor, uneducated piece of trash white gal voting for HRC I only have the Aldi's brand mayo jars to hold evidence. Mayo there only costs 0.99-perfect for this gal to spread on her liverwurst on white bread samwiches!

She'll split the delegates and perhaps lose to Obama on delegate count, hence making her getting the nomination down to 2% at that point.

Let them steal....fuckers.

She's literally capable of doing anything to fulfill her ambitions. I certainly wouldn't put it past her or her new right wing buddies to resort to hacking the vote.

It becomes REALLY hard to rig the vote when you got large percentages voting.

So please encourage efforts to get out the vote so that the people will make the choice and not some damned machine!

26. Did governors rig states like VA and WI for Obama?
Did Kaine rig Virginia? Did Doyle rig Wisconsin? HEY!!! All the polls in Wisconsin had Clinton down only 4-5 points. Yet she lost by 17...Obama similarly won by far more in Virginia than the polls were showing. Yet you point to Ohio, where Clinton won by 4-5 points more than polls showed. :eyes:

Obamanation always has "weird" excuses for why Obama loses--even two weeks in advance.

28. COME ON
I live in PA (and no, I'm not an older uneducated poor person) and everyone I know is voting for Hillary. The only Obama supporters I've seen are the ones standing in front of his election office, and the ones who went to his rallies. I know no O supporters in "real life" in PA.

There will be no rigging. Rendell machinery? What do you know about Rendell? I'm so sick of the innuendos and rumors that people continue to bring up about fellow Dems.

29. How many of these Obamites are even Dems?
They accomplish two things:

1) Make Democrats look like tinfoil hat nutjobs, which has the side effect of creating a "crying wolf" problem in the event there are real rethug shenanigans in the general election.

2) Divide the party with the worst kind of smears.

33. Actually its not Diebold, it is DANAHER and ES & S!!

The machines in Philadelphia are the ancient Danaher 1242, which many times Rendell has said are wonderful. He calls Danaher machines "the buttons" and he says that Philly like "the buttons".

WATCH OBAMA'S NUMBERS IN PHILLY, if they are way off, we will know something is wrong.

BTW the same Danaher machines are used in Dauphin County (Harrisburg) and Bucks County (fourth largest county in number of registered voters. Over 2 million voters total use Danaher.

In Pittsburgh it is the ES&S iVotronic which is in 25 PA counties and not to be trusted.

Diebold is only in 16 smaller counties, with less than a million voters total.

BEWARE THE DANAHER MACHINES -- especially -- and the iVotronics in Pennsylvania.

37. Diebold does not mean "that their will voting irregularities"
No trusting a black box is reasonable.
Beginning with a false assumption is not.
It takes evidence to demonstrated vote fraud.
This Diebold "ruse" was used in Ohio 2004 to hide
the fraud, even though only 2 counties of 88 used Diebold.

When there is fraud, one does not look to every machine either.
Consider Georgia 2002. The Dem stronghold was targeted, one county of many.
