If the recent flood of yellow journalism doesn't soon abate I fear this forum will be indistinguishable from a urinal.
I know that's gross. But I'm a bit pissed.

I'm not a fan of wild claiming but I am glad when questions get raised.

4. Questions have been raised, without all the hyperbole. |

http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=show_mesg&forum=203&topic_id=500892&mesg_id=500893But it's a boring pdf that also mentions, most unfashionably, the vulnerability of paper ballots. Not gross, but not sexy in the least, either.

5. "when questions get raised" |
|
I swear, I am as happy as anyone "when questions get raised."
The claim in the OP over there is, "We actually won 50 seats in 2006." I don't think that is "questions," I think that is bullshit. I am so tired of election integrity being associated with bullshit.
Just saying.

I will never pretend to have as good a grasp as you or Wilms. For people like me, that the discussion has started is already a big deal.

7. in practice, it's a very hard conversation to have |

I was much younger when I first stumbled into DU -- was that April or May of 2005? I saw that some confused people suspected Febble of being a shill, and I thought that I could clear up that misunderstanding.
Yeah, right.
Before that, I spent several months actually helping to improve exit poll crap, more or less, on the theory that it would help to start good conversations. Stupidest thing I ever did.
Well, I'm usually pretty dialectical about all this, but right now you're just getting my sour, which is unfair to you. Thanks for the gentle word, and good luck out there.
