For the past eight months, the film "UNCOUNTED: The New Math of American Elections" has slowly and steadily entered the consciousness of the American voter. The film has now been seen in all 50 states and over 30 foreign countries, and has used a very effective public education strategy to encourage getting the word out about the vulnerabilities of our election system (and how Rethugligans have exploited those vulnerabilities).
Now, the UNCOUNTED team has decided to greatly expand the reach and influence of their film by initiating a weekly YouTube posting of footage from the film (as well as out-takes not previously seen by its audiences) to expose even more Americans to the evidence for stolen elections in our country. The first YouTube clip features Steve Heller, the Diebold whistle-blower who leaked legal documents from the law firm where he was working which showed that Diebold and its attorneys were well aware that they were violating California election law by introducing untested (and uncertified) software "patches" into California's voting equipment. Here's the link to the video:

I want to applaud the UNCOUNTED team for this decision to expand public awareness of our vulnerable elections by increasing access to the information in their film through these weekly free postings on YouTube. Please visit the YouTube link to get a small taste of this powerful film. If you haven't seen the entire film yet, you owe it to yourself to do so. And if you've only seen the main film at a public showing, you owe it to yourself to get a copy of the DVD so you can view the additional hour+ of extended interviews and deleted scenes that are included in the DVD.
To view the film trailer and order the film, go to www.uncountedthemovie.com . For those of you who've seen the film, post your comments and reactions here. Our Tennessee-based election reform group, Gathering To Save Our Democracy, is proud of the small role we played in getting this film (and four other documentaries so far) made using footage from our April, 2005 National Election Reform Conference.
