WAS THE VOTE ROCKED? OR MOCKED?Today we will delve into the national elections, and try to shed more light on whether the elections were fair or flawed. Pokey Anderson has been reporting on the potential for problems for over a year.
Did we rock the vote? Or, did someone mock the vote?
We will have a live telephone panel discussing the national election, with specific information on three battleground states.
The Panel:
Evan DavisFree Speech Radio News reporter based in Columbus, Ohio.
Yesterday there was a public hearing in Ohio asking for input on election problems, Evan has that report, plus an up-to-date look at Ohio.
David Cobb Green Party presidential candidate
Cobb and the Libertarian candidate have officially requested a recount in Ohio.
Joyce McCloyCoordinator, N.C. Coalition for Verifiable Voting
Says that David Dill has called NC the "worst state in the nation" regarding verifiable voting, and that one of the NC officials has said, "there will always be glitches." Will lost votes cause NC to have to hold another election?
Andy Stephensonof Black Box Voting, a nonpartisan group providing consumer protection for elections. He works with Bev Harris, and will be reporting on their massive number of election Freedom of Information inquiries. He is in Florida investigating there. www.blackboxvoting.org
In addition, we will have a taped statement from
Ralph Nader, made on our station on Wednesday, about the New Hampshire recount.
