Beginning Wednesday, voters who cast provisional ballots in the Nov. 2 election can call (866) 644-6868 to find out if their votes will be counted.
In Ohio, 155,428 voters cast provisional ballots, including 1,465 in Warren County, 1,609 in Miami, 9,227 in Montgomery and 2,127 in Greene.
Provisional ballots were given to any voter whose name did not appear on a precinct's voting lists. Those votes will be counted if officials confirm the voter's registration and polling place.
Callers will be directed to their county board of elections, which should be able to tell them whether their votes will or won't be counted, according to the Ohio Secretary of State's office. Counties have until Dec. 1 to perform an official count of the election.
