Is it possible there is a cover-up in a good way?
Even before the election, I have been curious about how the United States would conduct it's business and affairs with a very unpopular lame duck president for a few months after Kerry won. What is the possibility that the leadership of our government have decided to operate the executive branch without the stigma of being in a very unpopular lame duck position for any longer than necessary, especially with a war going on?

1. Would love to believe that
However the bloodbath being wrought on Moderates and liberals, it
would appear that the neocons are up right now.

2. In my opinion, not at all likely.
Egos and power trips don't work that way. Yes, I know I'm being a bit of a cynic but I would think the transition team would be set up as early as possible regardless of whether there is a war on or not. In fact, there is probably more incentive to get moving earlier rather than later at times like these.

3. Agreed, we have a tradition of orderly and smooth transition...
And the transition from the George H. W. Bush Presidency to Bill Clinton's presidency was smooth, and without rancor.

4. Sarcasm becomes you.
I'm still seething over the allegations of destructiveness on the part of outgoing Clinton staffers. Jackasses never were held accountable for those lies.

7. I wasn't being sarcastic,...
I was refering to the previous transition, not junior, H.W.,41. Sorry I didn't make myself clear. The last transition was terrible and not at all traditional.

8. Oops, my bad.
I actually appreciated the sarcasm, but read it backwards. I read Clinton to W Bush. Sorry!

6. Our government has revealed itself as a farce
