Indiana news: 3 more counties report errors
Let's just skip to my favorite part:

Indiana's law has a quirk many voters may not realize.

Voters who vote a straight ticket but want to vote for candidates of another party in multi-candidate races like at-large council will lose all votes for candidates in that race from their own party.

If a voter votes a straight Democratic ticket but picks one Republican in the at-large race, no votes count for the Democratic candidates. Only the Republican vote is counted

1. One more reason...
...not to ever vote Republican.

2. Of course.
I wonder if a Republican voted a straight ticket, but votes for one Dem, if the Dem gets the vote. Somehow, I am doubting that is the case. When will all of this evidence be enough for somebody to listen? It's always erring in favor of the Repugs! That's just not how honest mistakes occur!

12. OR...One More Reason For a National ReVOTE...
...because this election has SO MANY "irregularities", there's no way millions of Americans (possibly MORE than Bush-fans) will ever accept that their vote was ever counted!

If you haven't already, please SIGN THE PETITION FOR A REVOTE at:

We cannot afford to have yet another stolen from We the People!

3. That's ridiculous.
I did all my votes individually on my absentee, and glad of it. Wonder if they got counted...

4. And vice-versa?
"If a voter votes a straight Democratic ticket but picks one Republican in the at-large race, no votes count for the Democratic candidates. Only the Republican vote is counted."

So, if a voter votes a straight Repub ticket but picks one Dem in the at-large race, no votes count for the Repub candidates; only the Dem vote is counted?

Does it cut both ways?

5. What if..
What if you did the opposite - voted straight Republican with one Democratic candidate - would only the Democratic vote count?

And why do these seemingly innocent irregularities always benefit the Republicans?

8. We should ban
Straight ticket voting. You should have to choose everyone you vote for -- take some positive action:nopity:

I guess what I did was illegal.

9. Well, it seems to me that the voter is either choosing a straight ticket..
or not. You have to decide. It's common sense that, if you want to cast a vote for somebody of the other party, you won't be voting a straight ticket. There's no option for "I want to vote a straight ticket except for just this one". I don't think this situation is nefarious.

10. Where are the programming errors that favor Kerry?
It's all too much.

I just learned of an inauguration day protest rally in West Palm Beach. I imagine there will be others all around the country.
